Snap Paediatrics provides you with the care your child needs when they need it most, without waiting weeks or months for an appointment, or the added stress of an emergency department.
Standard Consult - 60 minutes
A Standard Consult will explore and discuss any medical concerns you have and includes a thorough assessment and management plan. This might be something you have discussed with your GP and appointments can be made with or without a referral.
At Snap Paediatrics, we will do our best to see you within two weeks!
Urgent Care Consult - 30 minutes
If your child is acutely unwell, you can book an Urgent Care Consult and be seen the same or next clinic day by one of our Paediatricians.

As specialist Paediatricians we have the best knowledge, training and experience to assess and manage your child’s urgent health needs. We provide a variety of prompt, accessible health services for non-critical injuries and illnesses. Before booking an appointment, please refer to our exclusion criteria to ensure our service is right for your child’s condition.

Our Clinic
Our paediatricians offer face-to-face consultations at our convenient Sunshine Coast clinic located at The Sports Hub - 26 Main Drive, Bokarina.
Your child’s first appointment will typically last between 30 and 60 minutes, in which your paediatrician will assess your most urgent concerns. They will ensure they understand all important aspects of your child’s medical history, complete a thorough, relevant examination, order any further tests that are required and discuss a suitable management plan. Review appointments will be made as required until your child’s care can be handed over back to their General Practitioner or long-term care Paediatrician, if required.
Urgent Care Consults can be booked online or by phoning the clinic during business hours. For general paediatric Standard Consults, please call to make an appointment. Appointments can be made without a referral from a GP, however this will incur a greater out-of-pocket expense.
Telehealth available
We understand it’s not always possible (or preferable) to make a face-to-face appointment.
It is essential to be seen face-to-face for your child’s initial appointment. Our paediatricians are more than happy to conduct follow up reviews via a video call, or ‘telehealth’ if appropriate, especially if you do not live nearby.
If you would like to see our Paediatricians face-to-face but are worried about infectious symptoms, we can also arrange a ‘car consultation’ and review your child in the comfort of their own car seat.
