Urgent Care Consults

Experienced Paediatric care when your child needs it most

30-minute appointments with our experienced Paediatric team. These can be booked same or next clinic day, Monday through Friday.

Urgent Care consults are for managing acute illnesses. For example, when your child gets sick with a fever, cough, gastro or has a minor injury. For long-standing or more complex concerns, you need to book a Standard Consult.

Some Urgent Care Consults may require the use of equipment. These will be provided as required for a small additional fee.

Our team will schedule a follow-up phone or telehealth review when required, to ensure your child is getting better.

We know it can be difficult to make an appointment with your regular doctor or GP when your child is unwell. Maybe your holiday to the beautiful Sunshine Coast has been disrupted by your child’s illness. Waiting in an Emergency Department can add to the stress of having an unwell child.

We have lots of appointments with our experienced Paediatric team including a lower cost option. Please phone us or visit our fees page for more information. You can book an Urgent Care Consult online, right now!

🩺 Standard Consults

Traditional specialist Paediatric consultation

We have a team of caring specialist Paediatricians who provide thorough assessment and comprehensive management plans for all medical Paediatric concerns. By focusing on medical issues, we aim to book an appointment for your child within two weeks of referral or phone call.

Your child’s appointment will last up to 60 minutes. Your paediatrician will provide a thorough assessment and management plan of your most urgent concerns. They will ensure they understand all important details of your child’s medical history, complete a relevant examination, order any further tests that are required and discuss the best management plan. Your doctor will organize tests and referrals and will send a comprehensive letter to your healthcare team. Review appointments will be made, as required and we will always work as a team with your General Practitioner and other specialists involved in your child’s care.

As medically focused Paediatricians, we have a limited capacity for school aged ADHD assessment and management, but do not currently accept other developmental Paediatric referrals.

Appointments can be booked by phoning the clinic during business hours and can be made with or without a referral. If you don’t yet have a referral, call our friendly staff to find out about your options.

👼 Health Checks and Immunisations
