Snap Paediatrics provides you with the care your child needs when they need it most. With a growing team of Paediatric specialists and services, we take pride in offering timely access to high quality care for babies, infants and kids up to 16 years old.
Urgent Care Consult - 30 minutes
When your child is sick, you can book an Urgent Care Consult and be seen the same or next clinic day by our Paediatric team. These appointments are for common illnesses like fever, cough, gastro or minor injuries, instead of a GP appointment or a visit to the Emergency Department.
If your child has been unwell with a problem for longer than a few days, has more complex or multiple problems, a Standard Consult is more suitable. If you’re unsure, just call us!
Standard Consult - 60 minutes
A Standard Consult is a Specialist Paediatric appointment. One of our caring Paediatricians will explore and discuss any medical concerns you have for your child. It will include a thorough assessment and management plan. This consult might cover one or multiple issues and will include further investigation and follow up as required. Standard Consults are best made with a referral. If your child does not have one yet, call us to find out how we can help.
At Snap Paediatrics, we do our best to see you within two weeks!
Health Check and Vaccination - 30-60 minutes
Our Paediatric team are available to provide regular health checks and vaccinations for babies, infants and children. Have the ultimate peace of mind for your precious little one’s growth and development, with the option of seeing a specialist Paediatrician. We take the time to ensure all of your questions are answered.

When should I book an Urgent Care Consult for my child?
These are same-day appointments for when your child has a minor illness or injury. Urgent Care Consults are best suited for:
✔ Fevers and infections
✔ Coughs, sore throat & ear pain
✔ Respiratory illness
✔ Gastroenteritis
✔ Rashes
✔ Minor injuries
When is it best to book a Standard Consult?
30 - 60 minutes Standard Consults with our Specialist Paediatricians are the best option when you have a referral or a more chronic, long standing (more than a few days) or complex concerns. Common issues include:
✔ General Paediatrics
✔ Baby and Infant issues
✔ Constipation
✔ Abdominal pain
✔ Simple seizures
✔ Headaches/Migraines
Do you offer Baby Checks and Vaccinations?
Yes, our team are able to provide routine care for babies and infants. This includes:
✔ Routine health and growth checks
✔ Childhood immunisations (at 2, 4, 6, 12, 18 months and 4 years)
✔ Influenza and Meningococcal B vaccination
When should I go to hospital instead of Snap Paediatrics?

Do you offer developmental services at Snap Paediatrics?
As a medical Paediatric practice, we have only limited appointments for older school-aged ADHD assessments. Other developmental or behavioural concerns will need to be seen by specialist developmental Paediatricians.

Does Snap Paediatrics offer appointments in person?
Our Paediatric team offer face-to-face consultations at our convenient Sunshine Coast clinic.
Where is Snap Paediatrics located?
We are at The Sports Hub - 26 Main Drive, Bokarina.
Is there parking and access at your clinic?
There is plenty of free parking on site. Parking is free for the first 3 hours underground, or for 1 hour on the ground level. There are ramps and an elevator to allow access for everyone.
Do I need a referral to come to Snap Paediatrics?
Appointments can be made without a referral. Call to ask us how this works!
Telehealth FAQs
Can I make a telehealth appointment to see a Paediatrician?
It is essential to be seen face-to-face for your child’s initial appointment. Our Paediatric team will schedule follow-up reviews via a video call, or ‘telehealth’ if appropriate, especially if you do not live nearby.
