OUR SERVICES
WheN To SEE Us
WHEN YOU NEED URGENCY BUT NOT EMERGENCY
Snap Paediatrics has established its reputation on the Sunshine Coast for providing families with rapid access specialist Paediatric care. We are growing our range of services to include:
π©Ί General Paediatric Standard Consults, with a focus on medical concerns
β Urgent Care Consults for when your child is sick
π€± Perinatal Consults for new mums and babies
β€οΈβπ©Ή Allied Health support
π©Ί Standard Consults
We have a growing team of caring Paediatricians who provide thorough assessment and comprehensive management plans for all medical Paediatric concerns. By focusing on medical concerns, we are able to book an appointment for your child within two weeks of referral or phone call. Our paediatricians are available to provide normal baby checks. We know there is also a large demand for behavioural and developmental concerns, which we hope to address in the future.
β Urgent Care Consults
We offer 30 minute appointments with a Paediatric Specialist when your child is unexpectedly unwell. We know it can be difficult to find an appointment with your regular family GP when your child is sick. Maybe your holiday to the beautiful Sunshine Coast has been disrupted by your childβs illness. Having to spend hours waiting in an Emergency Department, only adds to the stress of having a child who is unwell, so we are offering an alternative. You can book an Urgent Care Consult online, right now!
π€± Perinatal Consults
We have a general practitioner and qualified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a special interest in newborn health, feeding support and allergies. This service offers support for both mother and child in breastfeeding or infant feeding difficulties (this includes all forms of infant feeding), unsettled babies, infant allergy concerns including eczema and food intolerances, solid introduction, paediatric feeding concerns e.g. selective eating, anxious mealtimes and perinatal mental health.
β€οΈβπ©Ή Allied Health Support
We have a growing team of experienced Paediatric Allied Health clinicians supporting our Sunshine Coast familes at Snap Paediatrics. Allied Health services at Snap include Dieticians specialising in allergy and neurodiversity (ASD and ADHD) and Psychology providing cognitive, educational and ADHD/ASD assessments.
β Prompt
For Urgent Care Consults, we will see your child the same or next clinic day. For Standard Consults, covering more detailed or long stading concerns, we aim to see you within a fortnight.
β Hassle free
We like referrals, but we can see you without a referral too.
β Hand-in-hand
We work with your GP (and other specialists) to ensure your child is improving with coordinated care.
