Dr Scott Schofield

Scott is an experienced and compassionate Paediatrician with subspecialty training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM). He has trained and practised in multiple cities across Australia and overseas contributing to his matured clinical practice. He has more than 10 years of experience as a Paediatric specialist. More than anything, Scott values the importance of patient-centred care. He ensures he listens to and understands the concerns of each individual child and family. He offers his knowledge and experience to guide a patient focused discussion and shared decision making for your child’s management plan.

As a father of two children, Scott appreciates the importance of your child’s health, development and wellbeing.

Dr Nicole Bertram

BSc, MBBS, FRACP (General Paediatrician & PEM), FACEM, MPHTM

Monday and Tuesday

Nicole is a dual-trained physician specialising in General Paediatrics & Paediatric Emergency Medicine. She developed an interest in Medicine during her high school years and always wanted to pursue a career working with children. Paediatrics was the perfect fit.

As a mother, Nicole understands how distressing it is when your child is unwell or in pain, and that long waiting times at the Emergency Department or for a Specialist appointment only add to that stress. This is why she is pleased to offer specialist care in a snap!

Dr Britta Jensen

MBBS, FRACP

Wednesday and Thursday

Britta is a compassionate and experienced general paediatrician dedicated to providing high-quality care for children from infancy through adolescence. Originally from Germany, she earned her medical degree there and began her paediatric training before relocating to Australia. Over the last decade she has worked in multiple paediatric departments across Tasmania and Queensland, managing a wide range of medical conditions.

Britta has a particular passion for supporting families from diverse backgrounds, she values a holistic approach to paediatric care, focusing on not only treating illnesses but also promoting overall well-being. In addition to her clinical work, Britta is deeply committed to medical education and mentoring junior doctors. She has been actively involved in training and supervising paediatric trainees, helping to shape the next generation of doctors.

Now starting in private practice, Britta looks forward to providing personalised, family-centered care to the local community. She welcomes referrals for a wide range of general paediatric concerns, including growth and development, behavioural and learning difficulties, and acute and chronic medical conditions.

Outside of medicine, Britta enjoys hiking, camping, and stand-up paddleboarding, as well as spending quality time with her husband and two children.

Dr Thuy-Tien Vo

MD, FRACP, FRCPC

Dr. Thuy-Tien Vo is a compassionate and experienced paediatrician with over 20 years of caring for children and families. She brings a uniquely global perspective to child healthcare, shaped by diverse clinical experiences around the world. This international background allows her to appreciate different perspectives and connect with families in a way that is respectful, inclusive, and deeply understanding.

A graduate of the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Vo completed her paediatric and paediatric emergency medicine training at CHU Sainte-Justine, a leading paediatric tertiary care university hospital and trauma center in Canada, where she practiced as a consultant for more than a decade. Her clinical journey has since taken her from major urban to remote and underserved areas including the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Alice Springs Hospital. She holds fellowships from both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians—credentials that reflect not only her broad international training, but also her dedication to offering children the most up-to-date, world-class care.

Dr. Vo continues to balance her clinical practice with academic, advisory, and volunteer roles, embodying a model of global citizenship and holistic care in paediatric medicine. Communicating in English, French, Vietnamese, and Spanish, Dr. Vo connects with families across cultures, ensuring that empathy and clear communication are at the heart of every patient interaction. Whether it’s a routine check-up or managing complex health concerns, Dr. Vo is dedicated to a patient-centered model of care, supporting children’s health and well-being with expertise, empathy, and respect.

Dr Sara Lee

MBBS, FRACP

Thursday and Friday

Dr. Sara Lee is a compassionate general paediatrician who has worked in a range of hospitals across Queensland, caring for children and families from diverse communities. She is a graduate of Monash University Malaysia where she proceeded to work in impoverished communities as a junior doctor. She completed her Paediatric training in Queensland having received training at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and Mater Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care unit as a Paediatric Trainee. She is a fellow with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Sara is well versed in caring for children in all stages of life, from newborns to adolescents. She believes that each child’s story matters and that the patient journey is just as important as the medical outcome. She values the importance of spending time to explain, educate, and share practical knowledge, partnering closely with families so they feel confident and supported in making decisions for their child’s health as she believes that informed parents are empowered parents.

Doctor hat aside, Sara enjoys spending time in nature armed with a camera looking for the next best snap of beauty in its natural elements, even better when accompanied by her favourite tunes. Though she has no affiliation to dessert companies, this does not stop her living up to her ‘namesake’ of enjoying desserts.
